Michael S. McCarthy

Attorney Michael S. McCarthy is an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Germaine & Blaszka, P.A., where he focuses his practice in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Michael brings a unique experience and perspective to his legal career from his seventeen years in law enforcement.

Attorney McCarthy is a Merrimack Valley native and a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and his Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law, Magna Cum Laude. He was recognized as a 2023 Sullivan Scholar and was selected to be the graduation speaker as a result of his academic accomplishments. He is licensed to practice law in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. Michael also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Salem Area Special Needs Association.

When outside of work, Attorney McCarthy enjoys camping, skiing, snowmobiling, and working around the house. His greatest joy is spending time and making life-long memories with his family.
