A Seacost woman is convicted in 12 parole violations

A 47-year-old Seacost woman, who had recently garnered a spot in the country’s Most Wanted Fugitive list, was found guilty Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, of 12 different parole violations. The hearing took place at the U.S. District Court of New Hampshire in Concord in front of Judge Paul Barbadoro.

The woman, originally convicted of identity theft back in 2007, allegedly stole the identities and ruining the credit of a number of friends and love interests. One such individual was her son’s nanny, whose credit card she used to buy things for herself, but then hid the bills as they came in.

Among the allegations cited in the indictment that resulted in charges being filed was her attempt to buy “eyelash extensions” using a bad check. The woman had previously plead guilty to six of the parole violations and no contest to the six other ones.

Of the six violations the woman plead to, one precluded her from being able to use the internet. It was later discovered she had written at least three emails to an Amherst dental clinic during September of 2016.

Also, although she was prohibited from opening a bank account, taking out a line of credit, or writing a check on an account without enough funds to cover it, she did so. She did not show up to a previously scheduled appointment with her probation officer.

She also didn’t disclose that she was questioned by a law enforcement agency within 72 hours nor that she had made an out-of-state purchase within 10 days. Last, she failed to surrender herself to federal officials to face parole violation charges as instructed.

Although court records did not yield any details regarding potential sentences for her latest parole violations conviction, they did highlight the fact that he parole has been irreversibly revoked. She remains in the custody of federal law enforcement officials.

If you or someone you know has been alleged to have violated the terms of either probation or parole, a New Hampshire criminal defense attorney may be able to help. He or she will advise you of your rights and any potential defenses in your case.
