Man accused of domestic violence entitled to criminal defense

Facing charges of assault or domestic violence can have an adverse impact on the life of the accused individual. In many cases in which an individual in New Hampshire is accused of domestic violence, the accusations may be false and brought with malice. Whatever the circumstances, the support of an aggressive criminal defense attorney may be needed to avoid the severe consequences that a conviction on such charges can bring. A 32-year-old man was recently arrested in Nashua, NH after he was accused of assaulting a woman.

A police report indicates that officers responded to a call from the hospital on a recent Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a woman who had received treatment for multiple injuries. Police were told that the injured woman alleged that she was physically abused by a man. Apparently, she claimed that the abuse included being thrown down, punched and strangled.

The authorities proceeded to an address of a residence in Nashua at which the alleged abuser was located. He was placed under arrest. The charges he is now facing include domestic violence, assault and more. He was awaiting arraignment on $10,000 bail.

Whenever someone in New Hampshire is accused of domestic violence or assault, it is preferable to insist on the presence of an experienced NH criminal defense attorney during any interviews or questioning by the authorities. Any accused person is innocent in the eyes of the law until – and only if – proved guilty in court and beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the slightest error in actions or words spoken may jeopardize the case, making the need for professional guidance and support all the more evident.
